I am a communication barrier...
Woohoo! It's been colder outside this morning than it's been in a while...I love it! It's been such an uncharacteristically warm winterso far this year...and I never get to wear my jackets until this time usually. Well, in the past, I'd be in the east coast a lot during the winter so I got to use them then, but lately, I'm in the office more often than not, so no jackets...unless it's cool like it was this morning.
I don't know how I did this again, but I freakin put on a pair of quitters again. Quitters are a term that Jos and I used to use when we were younger to describe socks that had a bad garter, so they'd "quit," or fall down, all the time. I don't remember where we got that term from, but it's always been pretty funny. So yeah, note to self: throw all quitters away or use as rags or something.
Dude, I really hate some of the communication barriers at work. I don't know why people put e-mail as a priority over face-to-face conversation. It's probably because they don't have to have the face-to-face conversation. I just had to sort out the biggest misunderstanding a little while a go, and it was really annoying because I wanted to meet up and sit down and sort it all out, but the other person kept communicating through e-mail. I had to go find this person to finally set everything right. Sheesh!!! I swear man, sometimes this whole e-mail thing gets way too out of hand. Especially when there is a speaking language barrier, e-mail can only make it worse, because one party might not fully understand the entire e-mail. There is no communication better than face-to-face...well, in my opinion at least.
It's hard for me to eat healthy when I'm really busy, especially at work. I'm not totally sure if I'll have time to go home and make my salad anymore...and often in situations like this, I'm resiegned to picking up fast food. Or I'll ask someone to pick up something for me...but again it's usually fast food. I should have had the foresight to making lunch today(but in my defense, I thought I'd get to go home)...we'll see what happens I guess. I hate having to pay like 5 bucks for a salad from a fast food place.
